Long time since I updated this!

I haven't taken any pictures, really, since like October. ;__;  I mean to correct this soon!

In other news, my main journal has moved and can now be found at DreamWidth:  raanve.dreamwidth.org &nb… are mirrored at LiveJournal still; replies are acceptable at either location.

I am also currently taking an online novel course that is designed to last two years.  TWO YEARS.  Probably, this is madness, but if you'd like to know more you can find out about that here: raanve.dreamwidth.org/tag/2yn

1) I believe very strongly in enjoying things that are meant to be enjoyed, such as food, good smells, and cute animals (amongst a host of other things).
2) I knit.  Lots.
3) I'm sort of a gamer, though I certainly know WAY MORE SERIOUS gamers.
4) I love love love music, but am keeping it strictly a hobby.
5) I like silly little knick-knacks.
6) I have only once broken a bone.  And that was a toe.  *knock wood*
7) I make lots of backup/escape plans that (thankfully) never get implemented.
8) I know for sure that I'm actually for-reals sick when I have no craving for coffee whatsoever.  

I'm not really so very good at change... but luckily, this most recent one is a positive one.  I got a new job!  So no more driving over an hour twice a week.  Also, my new job?  COFFEE.

I'm working in the main office of the local gourmet coffee roaster, so I'm around coffee smells all day, and seeing coffee being roasted... drinking it continually... even getting to play with espresso from time to time.  It's pretty fun.  I really like the workplace, the company is a good one (and local, which is kind of a big deal to me), and so far the people I work with seem great.

Now, if only spring would get here...

This is the part of the year that always bums me out, living in the part of the world I live in.  I'm eager for the holidays, but the weather is just so grey, and all the leaves are gone, and it feels like there isn't much of anything good to photograph.  All the good light for the year is done.  Meh.

Perhaps this means I ought to do more writing?
